The Board of the Catechists’ Fellowship is particularly concerned with bridging the gap between the catechists and the diocesan ministries. The Board promotes and facilitates training programs and courses offered by our Diocese. The board is prepared to conduct cluster level training programs that will provide new insights and perspectives for Catechists and strengthen their Ministries.
The Board of Catechists fellowship has organised Christmas get-together on December 2025. The highlight of this programme is that nearly ten catechists have been selected and trained for the choir. This initiative marks the first time in the history of the Diocese that Catechists have been given the opportunity to participate in the choir.
The Catechists’ lenten retreat was conducted at three different centres. The themes of the retreats were “The Cross in the Synoptic Gospels and the Fourth Gospel” & “The Seven Words from the Cross”.
Under the guidance of Our Beloved Bishop Iyya, the board has Organised a workshop to prepare the curriculum for catechists.
Coming months
The Board of the Catechists’ fellowship will conduct a Seven-month Certificate Course for all Catechists at twelve Centers across the four areas.
